TRINITY RIVER TRAILS - PAVED
In Fort Worth there are over 20 miles of paved bike trails along the Trinity River,
allowing riders to traverse the city from the North to the Southwest without ever crossing a road at grade level. On nice week-end days, though, watch out for the traffic on the trail itself (two wheel, roller blade, jogger, etc.).
Cyclists on the trails enjoy a close communion with the river, especially the abundance of wading birds (Great Blue Herons, various Egrets) and Red-tailed Hawks that call the Trinity River area home.

Marine Creek Route
This extension runs along N.E. 23rd Street (watch for glass and gravel) and then passes under the Stockyards, coming up to the street at Main by Cattleman's. It's poorly marked and rough, but when you go on out along Marine Creek it's a nice ride.
