FORWARD continues to oppose the construction of State Highway 121 Tollway in Fort Worth.

FORWARD has disagreed with the past transportation policies and practices of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) . Click Here to read the statement provided April 12, 1999 to the U.S. Department of Transportation for their review of NCTCOG.

As a result of pressure by FORWARD and other organizations and citizens, the latest version of the 2025 Mobility Plan (in development by NCTCOG) includes land use and the need for transportation to support sustainable development.

FORWARD supports that new direction being taken by NCTCOG.
