Our effort to stop SH121T continues, because:
• Citizens have clearly stated a desire for a Parkway, not a freeway.
• There is no need for a large highway, and the scope of the project will be a tremendous waste of funds.
• Such highways harm urban areas, especially city centers.
• Being in an EPA air-quality non-attainment zone, we need less auto travel and more efforts toward mass transit.

In general we believe that Fort Worth can grow with some good planning to continue as an attractive and livable city.

We believe that the citizens together can foster urban redevelopment, smart growth, mass transit, and other "healthy urban" programs.

As a result of pressure by FORWARD and other organizations and citizens, the latest version of the 2025 Mobility Plan (in development by NCTCOG) includes land use and the need for transportation to support sustainable development.

FORWARD supports that new direction being taken by NCTCOG.
